- ---- Tamamo's Glove: this item is a small-scale quantum computer, it has a number of functions, including a full array of wireless communications [wireless, bluetooth, cellphone net, fm/am radio..]
the glove's only combat function is jamming wireless signals, [lasts 4 turns in combat, 20m range, cannot be used again within a fight due to overheating the transmit amplifiers] it has the ability to create quantum portals, though this takes a large amount of energy and some time to enter the command/required data, thus cannot be used in combat, the portals themselves are created by small flying drones that generate a high-energy field, thus can cause some not sufficiently protected electronic devices to malfunction, or even fail.. [non-combat due to command/data entry time and drones being relatively unarmored, unusable within a 50m radius due to being relatively inefficient at such short ranges, usable 5 times unless exiting completely, no range limit, cannot establish in walls, requires that she knows the spatial coordinates of the area she wants to go to, needs permission to enter private areas, 1h recharge/cooldown time..] the glove can hack into some devices, though not anything like a sentient AI, cybernetics, or similar.. usually only computers, smartphones, ip-based wireless cameras, wireless networks and the like.. [non-combat, requires OOC permission for databases, personal devices or similar, also requires the target device to be wireless-enabled or connected to a wireless-enabled network for a direct to device/network hack, the glove has no wired connections that are compatible to any current computer connections] the glove has a holographic display that can be interactive, activated by flicking her gloved hand after a command is entered to it.. often used to visualize something she's designing or when operating display-using functions on her glove.. [non-combat, 15m range from it's projector array, image can be disrupted by someone walking through it] this device can be damaged and/or removed from her hand, which will disable it and its capabilities and the Sword Drones.. it can also be hacked, though it takes a highly advanced level of hacker to do so.. the transceiver in the glove can be destroyed by an emp or overpowering it's amplifiers, disabling its quantum-portaling, jamming, hacking and wireless communications until repaired, while the transciever is destroyed, it cannot be hacked either..
- ---- Direct Neural-Link Interface: this system normally consists of DataPorts on the back of the neck, but Tamamo's version is an optical-based interface array that the lights and recievers for it are just below the skin throughout certain areas of the body.. this system can be damaged by moderate or better, but is capable of self-repairing, only while out of combat and if Tamamo's wounds have healed enough to support it, though

[minor energy/physical slashing or physical blunt damage individually, 10m range, 1 round call delay, combo-attacking in one round is hard-capped at moderate, these weapons replace Dark Orb when present]

Highly Athletic: Tamamo has enhanced agility and speed compared to a normal person... this is based on her kind's natural abilities and her small build.. [passive, 10% chance to evade attacks, runs up to 20mph or 32km/h dead sprint, 100m range at top speed before she has to stop running]
Elemental Affinity: Tamamo has a high affinity towards Dark magics, thusly will not take as much damage from such attacks, she can also sense other things emitting dark energy.. [passive, damage dealt to her by such attacks is reduced a level compared to normal, though this will not affect attacks already at minor damage, also has a 5% chance of dealing a level higher damage on Dark Orb's Detonation, 20 on d20 activates]
Hidden Form: mostly cosmetic, but locks use of abilities other than Wave-Stomp, passives and tech-granted abilities[ex; Tamamo's Glove] when using this, Tamamo will appear as a single tail, as much of her power is sealed away into a black bead she carries on her, if that bead is taken, she cannot switch out of this form until she gets it back or a few days passes, at which point, the bead fades out and she reverts to her full form.. this is the form she's often seen in as it hides her power.. [no duration limit as this actually seals her power, 3 uses to switch into, takes 1 post to switch, during which, she can do nothing else as she is focused on creating the bead or absorbing it]
Dark Claw: Tamamo can create dark, bladelike waves of energy from her claws that can travel 10m out from her before dispersing, damaging anything in their path.. [Instant-Action, lasts only in the post it is used, moderate damage, 3 uses/day, 2 round cooldown]
Phantom Claw: this ability is similar to Dark Claw, but does not travel, instead, this attack is more akin to a buff-type ability [Instant-Action, lasts only in the post it is used, moderate damage, 1m range only, can engage into a clawed assault with this, but total damage will not exceed moderate per round, cross-counts with Dark Claw for cooldowns/use count.]
Dark Orb: Tamamo creates one or more orbs, and can manipulate them to attack her opponent... she can also cause them to explode for added damage [1 post to create, 2 post duration if not detonated or cancelled beforehand, 10m range, minor damage for both a normal hit and detonation.. this attack is her primary go to attack, despite the creation lag.. 15 uses/day, each additional orb created in one session counts against the uses, thus can run out quick if she's forced to multi-orb a lot, 3 orbs per session maximum, 5 times per fight regardless of orbs created. multiorb sessions cannot detonate.]
Wave-Stomp/Kick: Tamamo can create waves of dark energy either in a 5m radus, or fire a energy wave in a forward arc up to 10m, this attack is more for stunning or knocking opponents off balance than damage, thus really has no effect damage-wise.. [Instant-Action, lasts only in the post it is used, 1 post stun on all in range, no damage, 5 uses, only connects with others that are on the ground, anyone in air, by jumping or flight is unaffected as this is a low, ground-hugging attack, cannot use again within 4 turns]
Purge: this ability is is a very oddball one.. it can, used defensively, negate magic-induced negative status effects, or used offensively, can remove beneficial status effects induced by magic.. [Instant-Action, lasts only in the post it is used, does not remove self-induced negative effects on any in range, no damage, 5 uses, effects all in range depending on their disposition towards Tamamo[neutral/friendly will be affected defensively, hostiles will be affected offensively..], cannot use again within 4 turns, no damage]
Combat weaknesses: (What are the things that make them weak in battle? If your character has no weaknesses, we will take it that they have no powers either. Everyone weaknesses in battle, even characters meant to be Gods. No, none of this is known by anyone In Character unless found out through RP or told such. If there is a case where someone blatantly knows your character's weaknesses without ever interacting, please let staff know immediately and notecard the interaction.)
Can be affected by religious seals/talismans warding against spirits or banishing them, she will typically leave the area because such seals will make her feel highly uncomfortable...
Weak to Physical attacks: Tamamo's small build doesn't really allow her to take a lot of powerful hits, so she can easily be injured by attacks... [damage above minor is treated as one stage higher than it is to Tamamo.. namely moderate is treated as major and so on and so forth to her..]
Physically weak: she lacks muscle strength in her body to really do a lot of damage... [will not deal any damage with her actually punching or kicking with no enhancements/weapons, any damage she does from her actually punching or kicking attacking otherwise is reduced a level, meaning she would only deal minor damage with attacks that would have been moderate and so forth, her abilities that aren't from her glove and her using weapons that she is skilled with are excluded from this, as they are her magic being converted into physical effects, or from Tamamo letting her weapons do the work..]
Rough Past: Tamamo has had an extremely rough past, thus has a very bad case of PTSD, as such, she doesn't trust anyone other than her friends.. she also avoids large crowds for the very same reason.. she is also highly erratic in getting sleep as she has never had a consistent schedule..[3~4+ people in one area or in a small room can lead to her having to leave the area or room from being too stressed out, also results in her having a hard time talking to most people.. has to have a friend with to keep her from showing this to a degree, will only leave if 6+ in one area.. she can often wind up falling asleep at any time she is undisturbed, or if she has been staying up beyond 2 days, she is highly prone to passing out regardless of where she is..]
Energy Deprivation: if she takes major or higher damage, she will very very rapidly consume her energy into self-stablizing herself[only bleeding out or injuries preventing her from doing something vital to survival], resulting in an instant KO and will drop herself into a hibernation-like sleep, that very little can interrupt.. her vitals, even brain activity will drop to levels that can make her seem dead, this will remove all remaining uses of all attacks for the time she remains in this state. [can, depending on the severity of the damage Tamamo has taken, last upwards of a few days to a week, can be, likely temporarily, suspended by energy transfers, either non-elemental or dark energy]
Elemental Affinity[contd]: Tamamo has some problems with light/holy magics, meaning these attacks will do more damage to her or have reduced healing effect on her and her attacks/spells with these elements have a 15% chance of reduced effect or completely failing.. [one stage higher damage from attacks with this element, heals with this element are one stage reduced, making light-element heals already at minor unable to affect her at all..]
Acute Hearing - her sense of hearing is very sensitive so high pitched/loud sounds and tones can really hurt her ears and/or render her deaf temporarily.. [1 round or post stun on airhorns, sirens, loud whistles and similar in 15m, flashbang grenades and similar have twice their duration..]
Sense of Smell - as she is a canine-based species, her sense of smell is very strong... though it can be useful in a lot of cases, but bad smells can drive her to coughing and gagging and render her unable to fight until she leaves the area or the scent disperses...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character Backstory: (Tell Us Their Story) Tamamo has been hunted ever since she was a young single-tailed fox-Spirit, she hasn't really had the time to truly discover what she is capable of in terms of her power, all she knows how to do is attack things and neutralize other attacks with her power.. sometime during the cat and mouse game that her and her pursuers were making, she had discovered that through technonogy, she could make things easier on her end and more difficult for her pursuers... The ATRC took notice after a while and had managed to convince her to join, she quickly worked her way up through the ranks, eventually becoming the leader of the ATRC through her knowledge..

| remapping to Adapted, due to the DNLI system, EA-W reverted, and based on earlier talks, energy subtype removed from the Greatsword-Drones' damage. added new Drones that will replace the Greatsword drones once allowed.. | |

"Purge"
How does Tamamo go about forcing someone to purge heir being of beneficial or detrimental effects? Buffs and Debuffs being removed is quite the deal as there aren't many people that can REMOVE such things from people's characters for the coarse of a fight. I have NOTHING against it. But I want to know HOW because that's something VERY strong. So a bit more info, more in-depth, would be very nice.
Also, to me, it doesnt make sense for the character's design so Im curious as to how you fit it in! ♥ | |

| Tamamo's "Purge" ability was more she does a burst similar to her stun, the WaveStomp/Kick, only it's not a ground-chaser.. and it was an ability she'd figured out how to emulate from others of my lot able to pull it [these others are far too powerful..] it's effect is only on the magic-based buffs/debuffs active at the moment it's triggered, too.. anything afterwards will affect like normal, the burst disrupts the energy causing those effects.. and how does it not make sense to you? | |

| How does it not make sense: She didnt have a cleansing skill before and now she does when she focuses mainly on tech, from what I can see. Thus my statement.
Anyway, moving on.
So "Purge" nullifies the ability that is the buff or debuff... Before it's activated? How does she know when it's triggered if it's a self buff? Does this include racial self-buffs since those are optional on sheets? What about debuffs like the Strain on the Adapted which procs every 4 rounds in combat? Is it suppose to work on that? Im asking all of these questions because, as I said, things like this are VERY strong. | |

| ah.. and it does not work on non-magic/innate stuff or self-induced debuffs[strain damage, Tamamo's own En-Dep, self-damage from energyburn and similar such], she isn't aware of when to use it unless there is a sign of such [ie Hiroko's DMC setting her hands alight with dark energy or a noted difference in what someone is doing as an example.. i'm going to count race-based self-buffs as nonmagic/innate, unless otherwise alerted..] and Purge doesn't nullify before activation, it removes the effect[s] that was/were activated before the Purge's use.. and are you talking about pre HC port over from HH? as i did give her the ability when i initially ported her over to HC.. same thing with the GreatSword Drones and Phantom Claw, she gained those during the first HC portover, compared to her HH form.. yes, she is primarily tech-focused, but she has what little she knows of her own power as a 9-tail Kitsune as a backup, hence Dark Orb, Dark/Phantom Claw, Wave-Stomp/Kick and Purge.. she prefers her tech to hide that power as a [to quote a game, can't remember if it's an older mvc or something else] "sneaky surprise attack!" moment for her opponents.. she doesn't know what all she can truly pull, the bit she does, is really improvised yet practiced down to an art, she doesn't really incant or call out her attacks.. she just focuses her energy into the form of that attack.. if need be, i can pull Purge or replace it with something else[likely that Katana she'd got from Hiroko back in HH] or another tech device.. [Wave-Force Armor, Powered Armor, Vibration Claw System, BeamPistols if allowed or something else entirely, i'm open to ideas.. lol] | |

| Making this super simple.
The ability 'Purge' is she doing such via Tech or Magic? If it's Magic: It can clear DEBUFFS done via magic. If it's Tech: It can clear DEBUFFS done via tech/poison.
Im locking it to such for now because you are just a tier 5. Clearing Buffs would be kinda insane. Just choose Tech or Magic, please. | |
