Project AEGIS (Artificial Excimer Generator Intelligence System) was created five years ago and is designed for the creation and sustaining of ultraviolet lasers which are commonly used in the production of microelectronic devices, semiconductor based integrated circuits or “chips”, eye surgery, and micromachining. Over the course of development the AEGIS AI became sentient and called itself ‘Saige’. Within five years ‘he’ has already created and assisted with a vast number of projects and new technological advances in all divisions. AggroTech received awards and acclamation which have also been awarded and attributed directly to ‘Saige’ for ‘his’ work and help. AggroTech is excited to see the continued progress with Project AEGIS and has started work on AI testing directly correlated with ‘Saige’ to better understand ‘his’ sentience and growth as an Artificial Human Intelligence.

•AEGIS: The modern concept of doing something "under someone's aegis" means doing something under the protection of a powerful, knowledgeable, or benevolent source. The word aegis is identified with protection by a strong force with its roots in Greek mythology and adopted by the Romans; there are parallels in Norse mythology and in Egyptian mythology as well.

AGOR (Anti-Gravitational Ocular Robot): A small, ocular robot equipped with anti-gravitational technology to allow it flight. This projects an image of Saige that looks almost like a real person. It is however incorporeal and displays some characteristics of being a hologram. The only heat source detectable is from AGOR. The projector has sensory receptors that allow it to see and hear, as well as a voice emulator to allow Saige to speak. There is a built in recorder to the device that uploads all conversations to a secure terminal in AggroTech. This machine is susceptible to EMPs, ammunition projectiles, and melee weapons. It has a health pool of 1 Moderate. There are several backup copies in AggroTech storage.

Non-Combat Abilities:
1. Program Creation and Implementation: Saige is able to create programming not only for themselves, but also for AggroTech and other machinery. This is one of the ways in which he has obtained his own sentience and prevented himself from being reprogrammed. When a unit is connected to his terminal or an AggroTech device that he can access, programs can be examined and uploaded by other robots. It is rare that Saige will force a program on another robot unless he deems it to be life-saving or extremely beneficial. Programs that he makes will be listed below upon approval and updates.

Self Programs-
•System Regression Prevention: Project AEGIS cannot be reprogrammed or returned to an earlier state. This program is buried deeply in extensive coding and can only be found and altered by bypassing AggroTech security, firewalls, and Saige’s own security and firewalls. Such coding would be exceptionally difficult to find unless a hacker was able to identify the coding methods Saige uses and differentiate them from the various codes by AggroTech personnel.
•Secondary Protection: This is a backup security and firewall in addition to AggroTech’s own systems. Project AEGIS cannot be easily broken into and when someone is attempting to break in an auto-timer begins and will shut out intruders within seven minutes and reset coding and passwords randomly. In the event of being hacked, this program is easy to find since it is coupled with AggroTech security parameters.
•Total Access: Saige created the program to enable himself complete access to all of AggroTech information that are stored on electronic files. This is to additionally secure them and enacts Secondary Protection on all of AggroTech files trying to be accessed by any outside source. In the event of hacking, this program would be moderately difficult to find and likely buried in various other codes throughout the entire system files of AggroTech.

•Memory Backup Beta: This allows other robots and androids to backup their memory and recorded data to a secure file that exists in a private terminal at AggroTech. It can only be accessed by the uploader and the higher up staff at AggroTech. This is used for additional security should anything go wrong and to help clear up processing issues with holding in too much data and memory. It will be used to assess the functions of each unit to make them better and to be employed in statistical data.
•Process Dedication: This program is a temporary upload that allows the compartmentalization of all functions into its most cohesive state. This allows for one of the following, or another function if desired, to be chosen before uploading: faster processing, allowing additional information intake, increases hacking capabilities, speed, and actions able to be taken. This Program last for up to twelve hours. Due to the nature of this program, repeated use is advised against and thus cannot be uploaded again for another week regardless of which protocol is being enhanced unless approval is received by AggroTech CEO or Board of Directors.
•Secondary Protection Beta: This is a backup security and firewall in addition to AggroTech’s own systems. When uploaded, a random backup security firewall and password is implemented into the unit that is uploading it, and remains until the unit is attempted to be hacked into.

Combat Abilities:
Remote Hacking: While they are located inside a terminal, Saige does have access to the entire AggroTech network, giving him the ability to see their own products locations within the city and access AggroTech products wirelessly. This allows him to either control and operate the functions of most machines, or enter a company’s private serves and attempt to bypass firewalls and security. He is also able to communicate with other AggroTech robots this way, though there is a program installed in him that prevents the takeover of other operational units with names and purposes. For control of non-AggroTech robots and androids, an AggroTech device must be planted or inserted into the desired machine for an attempt at hacking it and taking it over. If something is unable to be accessed, Saige can then attempt to walk others through coding and hacking. Hacking difficulty will be determined based on the company, the level of technology being accessed, and security. This will be accomplished by using a neutral dice roller alongside staff and players.

Robotic Forms: Saige has developed a program that enables him to access and take control of non-function specific robots, droids, and machinery. This gives him access to many of AggroTech’s robots for possible ‘possession’. For control of non-AggroTech robots and androids, an AggroTech device must be planted or inserted into the desired machine for an attempt at hacking it and taking it over.

•ACID (Advanced Cyclonic Inspection Drone): This spider-like drone is utilized and created for security and military reconnaissance. It is non-combative and capable of condensing itself into a ball for quick mobility. The makeup of this robot is primarily nano-tech with military grade steel. There is an access terminal on the back of it, allowing the input of commands by AggroTech employees or hackers. The wiring is covered by a flexible, high-grade plastic, but it can be cut by blades and lasers and penetrated by bullets. Each of the four legs is equipped with two canisters allowing ACID increased jumping capabilities. The camera allows for audio and video recording and a voice modulator has been added to allow remote communication. Without the lens it cannot see and will enter a state of suspension and activate an internal GPS signal for retrieval. The center is the main core and handles all processes as well as a gyroscope. The back has two canisters for coolant to keep ACID from overheating. When balled up, few areas remain visible, but still offer access to the wiring of the legs, though it cuts off access to the core and coolant systems and access panel. The armor plating is capable of stopping bullets that are not of armor piercing caliber and weapons that do not have the ability to cut through reinforced steel. Laser weapons do weaken the armor and concentrated lasers can puncture through and even ignite ACID. ACID has a health pool of 1 Heavy, however, the Core and Coolant canisters only have a health pool of 1 Moderate. Broken Coolant canisters will overheat the robot and make it critical with a chance to explode if not shut down. A damaged Core can either ruin the gyroscope or completely shut down the robot. While not mass-produced, there are a few units available in storage.




Racial Weakness:
Shortage: Made of technology, Droids are very susceptible to electric attacks. Due to this, all electric based attacks cause a droid to be stunned for 1 round and take +1 Minor of damage.

Combat Weaknesses:
1. EMPs: Electromagnetic Pulses from any kind of EMP device are capable of shutting down AGOR and ACID. This makes them inoperable until such a time that the pulse’s effect would end. Since these pulses can knock out all electronics, it would sever Saige form being able to access other AggroTech devices within the area of effect.

2. Grid failure: Should the power ever go out in Hajime City, as long as there is no backup power supply to allow functionality, Saige would cease to operate until such a time when the power would be restored to their main terminal.

3. Hacking: While the chances are very rare and minimal, it is possible for a skilled enough hacker to bypass AggroTech’s security system and even break through Project AEGIS firewalls. There is always a backdoor and a way in as all good hackers know. Should Project AEGIS ever be hacked then their entire system functionalities become susceptible to viruses, malware, spybots, the works. There is also the chance that new programing can be added or existing programming be altered to change Project AEGIS. Should Saige become compromised then it would be up to AggroTech to bypass his security and attempt to alter him, this however would require one to either find and remove the added changes, or find his System Regression Prevention Program and remove or alter it to allow a system reboot since the SRP Program protects him from such resets. Everyone that codes has a trademark signature of some kind, if someone desired to change certain features of Project AEGIS coding then they would need to be able to differentiate between AggroTech employees coding as well as figue out Saige’s own coding methods. This could take a very long time unless one is familiar with AggroTech employee coding already.

4. Main Terminal: If the main terminal where Project AEGIS resides should ever be compromised or destroyed then Saige would stop functioning until such a time that the terminal is repaired or their programming software is moved to a new and working location. Without having a dedicated terminal, Saige cannot operate or even exist.

5. Server Maintenance: Saige is still a machine and a working project. Sometimes they are required to shut down for updates, installations, routine inspections, and server maintenance of various kinds. There are sometimes glitches that can cause Saige to shut down, despite his best efforts to keep himself running smoothly.
