It was the year 1908, on a gorgeous, small planet called Nèkæh in the Anœtrx system. The planet was what earth would consider, a tropical rain forest. Within its atmosphere, many, large chunks of mountain tops broken from the land by meteors floated around uselessly, yet still thrived and held many special and rare species of trees and flowers. It was very humid and was wealthy with flora and home to an array of dangerous but gorgeous fauna. However, more importantly, it held a race of anthropomorphic, almost human like creatures with wings, which many would consider the race as a Harpy, which they wouldn't be wrong. The species is called Vhopæl. On this planet houses four different tribes, each hold the same beliefs and ways of living, simply the only difference is, their looks and abilities to match their own needs for survival. Each separated part of the planet held different dangers and land styles. The Kokuph Tribe lived in a very heavily forested area, the tribe members were were fantastic climbers with heightened sense of hearing and smell, along with a true talent for climbing. Their wings were smaller and less used. The Zabuni Tribe lived in a very marshy forested area, they were gifted with strong legs to help with running through mud, along with heightened sense of smell and sight. Their wings were smaller yet used often, making their homes within the tree tops. The Rehjish Tribe lived in the mountains, surrounded by floating islands, and not much as far as trees go. They were gifted with a great sense of balance along with a heightened sense of hearing and smell. Their wings were larger and very used, being used to fly to floating islands. And finally the Dokupek Tribe lived on vast meadows. They lived mainly underground and were gifted with great speeds, while also having a heightened sense of hearing and vision in the dark. Their wings were very small are rarely ever used. Each tribe kept to themselves and their own borders, defending their territory and prey with their lives. However, this story begins in the Kokuph Tribe, with a newborn by the name of, Nhung.

Nhung was born on the day of May 10th, a beautiful spring day on his planet. He was strong from birth, and always very happy and eager. He grew up with his parents, Hajuso, his father, and Delhira, his mother. During his days of adolescence, he showed great promise and impressed the Chief of the tribe with his eagerness to learn and help. When it came to choosing his mentor, the Chief decided with great pleasure that it'd be him to groom the young one to be his successor. Nhung was always happy to train and learn, absolutely hating any down time or rest, and during such times he'd be out and about to try and figure out things he could do to help out the tribe. He served his tribe well for the years he was with them. However, nothing good lasts forever. When Nhung was in his forties, he was on border patrol alone and met up with a young man from the Dokupek Tribe, the neighboring Tribe to the right of his clan. The man was known as Rekuna, and he was just a couple years younger than Nhung. The two hit it off very quickly, and truly began to enjoy each other's company, doing everything in their power to finding ways that they could get together, despite the Tribes laws against relationships outside of one's own Tribe along with their hatred and open disapproval of homosexual relationships. Their hidden relationship went on for two whole years until they were caught sleeping together one night after being followed. On sight, Rekuna was murdered by his own Tribe, and Rekuna’s Tribe demanded the assassination of Nhung. His Tribe however refused, and instead they hurried back home and the Chief gave Nhung all.the necessary tools to leave the planet and survive on his own, being officially banished for his safety.

With the guilt and sorrow of losing his mate due to his negligence, along with the pain of being banished for his affairs, Nhung unwillingly agreed and took his route of escape. However, before he was able to leave his home planet, one member of the Dokupek Tribe had caught up, and attacked him mercilessly. Because of his banishment, none came to aid him. Retaliating with all he had, the other submitted and left, but Nhung was in no shape. Badly wounded with a horrible injury to his throat, Nhung finally made his escape. By the time he had come to find help, aid for his throat has come too late, the damage could no longer be helped. Not only has he lost his speaking ability, but he also will forever live with a breathing problem that could truthfully kill him at any given moment should his throat decide to close up. For many years after the tragic situation, Nhung did what he could to help keep his mind off his deceased mate and his home, finding some comfort in learning new languages and visiting neighboring plants and even different realms such as the Yokai Realm, finding this very fascinating. During his travels, worn out and a tad lost, he just so happened to run into a kind, yet wounded Yõkai Lóng with peachy tan hair. Because of his travels, Nhung just so happened to understand this Dragons native tongue, and they were able to communicate from there. The Lóng was quite excited to meet someone who could understand his native tongue, and offered him to follow with back to his home, Nagiyaka.




Nhung is a very strong willed and passionate creature with a true sense of duty and a wish for belonging. He is very set in his ways and will do what he can to keep the spirit of his tribe alive with his every day actions though he was banished for his sins. He's very kind and understanding, with a very sweet, soft side when you get to know him, but at first glance he can be very cold. He often will distance himself from any and all ‘friend’ opportunities due to the fact he's so afraid of getting close to someone again and losing them. He's also very shy and distrustful, always trying to keep to himself and away from others. He rarely ever allows people close and refuses to get too close, thinking that any and all relationships are a bad thing, and should never be allowed. Despite this however, he is truly a very caring and affectionate person who wishes to belong and to find friends with the right stubbornness and passion to break down his walls.

-Ageing does not affect Nhung’s species, thus meaning he can not die due to age.
-While ageing doesn't affect his species, illness do. Their systems are fairly weak and are easily susceptible to illnesses.
-Nhung is completely mute, and communicates via sign language.
-While he can understand what people are saying and respond in sign language, he has a very hard time learning to write in different languages.
-Nhung is very programmed to be a certain way due to living in a tribe his whole life. He has no concept of money or electronics, and finds them useless and a waste of time. He will always hunt for himself, and refuses to use any type of electronic device.
-Nhung means “Soft Rock” (moss covered rock) in his language.
-Nhung was born left handed, but his tribe shuns those whom are left handed, thus his parents forced him to use his right hand, he is now ambidextrous.
-He has three forms that he can easily switch through, a full blown 'harpy' appearance, a more human like appearance with wings, or a full blown human appearance.

Universal
Aliens, being not from this planet, are gifted with knowledge of the Universal tongue which allowed for trade across the galaxy. Due to this they are able to process and learn other languages with ease as well as Speak and understand the Universal Tongue with ease.

Sky High
Nhung does have wings, and thus has the ability to fly. However, despite this, he doesn't have the stamina to fly for a long duration, and so he's very limited to how often and how long he can stay airborne.

Combat Abilities:  


Feathery Throwing Stars
When lashing out his wings, he has the ability throw hidden feathers which are much tougher and sharper than the rest in a manner much like a knife or throwing star. He has ten on these feathers in total, five on each wing.
Power: Minor
Range: Can hit anything within a 10 meter range.
Usage: Once every two days. Takes these,feathers two days to regrow.


Areo-arrow
With a powerful pump of his wings, Nhung can manipulate the air around him and make a blast of air with a sharp edge to it that has the ability to pierce into skin much like an arrow. Aiming is very difficult with this move, and he only has the stamina to use this ability once a day. Takes two turns to attack, and two turn cool-down period.

Range: Can hit anything within a 20 meter range.
Usage: Once a day.




Racial Weakness:


Primitive Technology
Aliens are not used to the simplistic technology of Humans and thus are both unable to use it as well as avoid it due to pride. If they do happen to use a Human’s weapon [Anything that is not Plasma or Laser based], they will not be able to use it proficiently and the damage goes down by 1 tier.

Combat Weaknesses:

Weak Throat
Due to his throat being permanently damaged, Nhung has a very difficult time breathing. If he wears himself out too much, he could have a situation where he will not be able to breath. He does his best to avoid any confrontations due to this fact. If worn out, he will be forced to forfeit a fight.


Electricity Element
Any type of electricity to hit him will completely paralyze him for two turns, leaving him completely vulnerable.

Water Element
If his wings were to get wet, Nhung will be unable to fly, and aiming for attacks will become more difficult. He will also be slowed down due to extra weight.


Fire Element
Nhung's feathers are very flammable, and can quite easily catch fire. His feathers are very delicate and can burn to nothing in no time, leaving him completely useless in a fight.
