Maxine is, to put it simply, an eccentric egomaniac with a love of mind games and self-indulgance. She is a by-product of her time, in a world of advanced technology, social media and a world controlled by industry and corporations. A world of criminals and the incorporeal, of yokai and yokels. To her, this city is her world. And she loves to consider it her playground. Maxine is a control freak. She loves to know (or at least think ) she has the upper hand. She enjoys that security, which adds to her smug cocksure nature. If there is anything to be said about her, it is that she's confident. Confidence, in her eyes, makes the world go round. Have a goal? Screw the rules! Just do it as best you can. And when you can't break the rules, use them to your advantage. When dealing with new people, Maxine often approaches them with her typical eccentricities. She comes off as playful, a bit rowdy but otherwise rarely gets off on the wrong foot...so long as you aren’t a part of any government organization. As expected from a complete rebel, she has a personal dislike for the establishment. Often times, whilst outright hostile...she does tend to be cynical and even bitter around them. Despite her rather anarchistic tendencies, she believes in helping the common shmuck. Everyone goes through crap. The world’s designed to give you a bad time. But that doesn’t mean you let it win.

Maxine is really into showmanship. If she is going to do something, it will have at least a dozen neon lights stuck to it somewhere. Every act is about leaving an impression, style is equal to substance in her eyes...so why not show that there is a little more we can do. After all...life’s greatest pleasure is doing whatever the hell you want. And she promotes that. In fact, that is her MO. Freedom of speech. Freedom of action. Make the world your own and ride it like your little horsey. This philosophy makes her quite impulsive, hedonistic and reckless. Her plans are oddly chaotic yet effective, the sort of person who would solve a cockroach infestation by driving a truck through the building and into a complicated set of pulleys and electrodes.  The more complex, the better.

• ----Rigger’s Rig – Expensive, elaborate and ever so damned fancy, this ‘rig’ actually consists of a well hidden holographic GUI emitter around the size of a small matchbox, an internal processor and I/O wire system. Its purpose? Accessing those pesky computers on the go. Of course, it’d be a great shame if someone were to use it to hack into someone’s internal systems. Of course, that would still require the arduous process of breaking the security manually – but we all have to start somewhere.

Combat Abilities: (What special powers does your character have, if any?)
--- B34t St1ck – On your first observation, one would behold a magnificent cybernetic weapon of extreme strength. A metallic club decorated in various glowing neon fixtures, brimming with energy and crackling with powerful electrical terror. On closer observation, you are likely to smack yourself in the gonads once you realize that it is actually just a metal bat wrapped in superglue’d on neon light fixtures, decorated intensely (with some tape here, the odd hologram there...) and covered in tightly wound  (and cut) electrical wiring hooked up to a rather strong battery to add a little crackle to your POP. --- Deals Minor Electrical Damage alongside normal smacking-in-face damage.

--- SP3ks – These may LOOK like your ordinary pair of trendy glasses, but on CLOSER examination, one need only notice the projector nod and processor connected to the stands of the glasses in order to realize that someone’s spruced them up. These glasses are in fact your friendly neighbourhood script-readers. Unless a digital device has some form of reliable security system, they display the device’s location by homing into its internal systems, making them pop out as if looking at someone through thermal imaging. The display also lists the name of the part it is looking at, labelled by their side. It is also possible to view the current display on their screen, quite handy for looking at public information terminal or spy on horny club-goers sexting with an abundance of winky faces.



Combat weaknesses:
Shorter Circuit 2: Holy Crap He Has a Glass of Water ---- Yes, Maxine is armed with a variety of interesting bits of technology, all used for her little infiltration missions...yet when designing most of it, she forgot to do just one thing -  WATERPROOF IT. Yes indeed, it may not fizzle out in the rain, but a burst hydrant, a glass of water or a strong electrical shock could completely blow out her systems.
Softyware - The school of hard knocks works, but the reality is Maxine isn't exactly built for physical confrontation. She's athletic, sure, but she relies on speed to make up for the fact she can't take many hits and her fighting training is completely informal and largely chaotic.
Character Backstory: Daughter of a British Businesswoman and her young japanese flame, Madeline Maxine Morokawa grew up in what one could call an utterly luxurious life. Since her youth, she'd been given a comfortable home, a place to call her own, a loving family and decent education. By the time she had her bachelor's in IT and found herself facing the reality of getting a job...well, Maxine was already fully on the 'spoiled rich kid rebel' train. Living within Hajimine city, she had the option to merely shower herself in the good life and live sheltered. But her curiosity and a few choice ventures into the streets lead her to answer just how complex and ALIVE the city really was. A rather course run in with some local street thugs and a friendly neighbourhood vigilante pulling her ass out of the fire...well, that was enough to start filling her head with ideas. At the time, Maxine's home life was rather boring. She'd spend many hours on the computer or at her console, streaming her games and occasionally coming on camera to start talking about social media and global going-ons. In time, with her newfound love of adventure...she'd begun to branch out more. A few tutorials and a love of delving into the more...sneaky ways of advancement (daddy's influence rubbing off) , she found herself indulging in more direct ways of speaking out. When the local police force were unable to help with the unfortunate mugging of a local grocer, she helped organize a vengeful DDOs attack that left quite a clear impact.

From there, she'd begun assisting in various bouts of cyber terrorism, growing in scale as she found the thrill of the whole ordeal more and more exciting. This had begun to show in the general attitude of her video streaming, until finally Maxine Morokawa had completely disappeared. Instead, a new personality - M@D M@X had surfaced. Hosting long anonymous talks and blogs about taking justice into one's own hands and keeping the everyday innocents informed, she had begun to forge herself into a would-be hero of sorts. She had become more bold, more dangerous. Her viewerbase may have loved her, but the mysterious masked woman was becoming more and more infamous around town. Often times filming outside, it wasn't the first time she had 'surprised' random strangers on the streets, asking their views on particular subjects or playing 'pranks' on big-shots. As she gets drawn further and further away from her rich lifestyle, she delves deeper into the lives of the people of Hajimine. With her own skills, her connection to social media, some sweet little modded gadgets she'd made herself and a baseball bat, Madeline Maxine Morokawa strives to make a difference in this city. Like it or not.
