Positive Traits/Strengths:

• Electrical Engineering Degree: Rickets has a degree in electrical engineering. He interned at Solar Ace company working to construct household appliances and lighting fixtures, but was also tasked with researching new forms of energy and solar panels. He has a capable understanding of electronics, electricity, and electromagnetism as it relates to objects and appliances.
  
• 20/20 Vision: Rickets has perfect vision and has no need for glasses and prescription lenses.
  
• Rugby Player: Rickets used and for fun has played Rugby back in South Africa. Therefore he is at top physical condition as expected of someone his age.

• Money, Money: Rickets is a greedy fellow. He'll always try to cut a deal thats better for himself and make cash whenever he can, even if the work is shady.

• Tinkerer: In Rickets free time he tinkers with machine and gears learning how they work and what they do. Anything outside of a household appliances, televisions, and lighting fixtures would be too advanced for him.
  
• Bike Riding: Rickets can ride a bike and does so for part of his fitness outlet.
  
• Old Kung Fu Movie Collector: Rickets enjoys old kung fu movies whether they're in color or black and white he enjoys them all! He cannot perform martial arts though.
  
• Scrapyard: Rickets likes to collect scrap metal, old machines, and spare parts. He's made a nice side business selling whatever he can get his hands on.
  

Fun Facts/Quirks:

• Rickets favorite food is lemon meringue pie. He doesn't like key lime pie.
  
• Rickets has dedicated himself to be the best penis drawer on bathroom doors and city walls. He is pretty good at it.
  
• Rickets likes country music and rap, but hates EDM music. He's indifferent to rock and metal.

Gene Rah: Rickets came across an old cassette player during his time in south Africa. This cassette player was made by a company called "Gene Rah" and he aptly named it some.The cassette player had a mixtape that when played and listened to the tape offers a different style of ability depending on the type of music he's listening to.

+Classical - Rickets gains a photographic memory only so long as he's listening to the classical music.

+Rock/Metal - Rickets's nerve become more sensitive, but it improves his fine coordination skills. He has increased dexterity and coordination. He can spin pencils around his thumb easier, juggle easier, and repair electronics at a quicker rate for instance.

+Rap/R&B - Rickets gains insight! He has the ability to see more into spiritual matters and he is more likely to infer someone is bluffing to him. Basically, his wisdom and critical thinking grows.

+Country Music- Rickets gains more heart! He is more courageous and unwavering in his convictions or what he hopes to accomplish.

EDM/Electronic music being played in the walkman has no effect on him.

-Poor Balance: Rickets balance is pretty bad. He's more likely to trip over his own two feet or fall off the side of a narrow walkway then to make it across successfully.

-Ow! My nose: Rickets nose is sensitive to damage after a bad rugby accident. He'll be floor, dizzied, and affected with a headache if struck.

-Coffee..zzz: Rickets will automatically pass out if he drinks coffee.

Gene-Rah Fall Backs

-Classical: Once the earbuds leaves Ricket's ears or the music is turned off he will suffer short term confusion or amnesia. He will forget friends and family. He will even forget where he is.

-Rock/Metal: Once the earbuds leaves Ricket's ears or the music is turned off he will be incredibly clumsy and will get easily winded from the most simple of physical activities.

-Rap/R&B:  Once the earbuds leaves Ricket's ears or the music is turned off he will succumb to a massive headache. He won't be able to focus or move.

-Country Music:Once the earbuds leaves Ricket's ears or the music is turned off he becomes a yellow-bellied coward. He will be afraid of his own shadow and will be of no use for a short amount of time.

Gene-Rah Breakdown: Gene-Rah while a nifty machine is still plastic and metal. It can easily be broken by hitting the concrete from a one story drop or if heavy damage is directly applied to it. Gene-Rah the Walkman will always be in his pocket or in his hand.


Character Backstory: Rickets was born in South Africa to a father who worked as a mechanic for a retail farm equipment company and a stay at home mom. All his life he had been tinkering with machines along with his father. He lived in the town of Kompaka, a small area with a reputation as a large lemon agriculture background. Rickets parents did decently, but they never had the money to travel, eat fancy foods, or buy more then one or two gifts for his birthday. As time passed Rickets eventually went to school to learn about engineering. But, during his time there, he had heard about the difficulties that occurred in Japan after the rift and went with a small group from his college to offer support in rebuilding infrastructure and fixing broken electronics in parts of the city that were still under construction. He found joy amidst the travesty and after having graduated returned to the very city he had once helped. Now he lives a casual life as an employee of the Solar Ace company, a manufacturer of home appliances, personal products, and instant meals, to further his education and live in a city he had learned to love.
