Personality:

The Gentleman:Dansen tends to act like this in most circumstances. As a man of class the creature will act in a way befitting the most noble and chivalrous men of the earth, his etiquette and his manners towards those whom he will be in the employ of or those he believes would serve his purposes quite well will be near perfect. He will never complain openly to them nor will he doubt the reasoning for their actions in fact he will implore their actions in order to get a grasp of those thing important to them.

Though he would seem perfect the part is only as good as the actor who plays it. His facade of kindness and goodwill hides a thin layer of sarcasm and wit that plays off the insecurities of those around him, he will make a comment or act that seems to be genuinely in the favor of the one he is in the pocket of only to show it as an sarcastic gesture to belittle the person. However in some cases this act or comment will be so little that those around him may not notice his insincerity and see him for what he wants to be seen as, a chivalrous and welcoming man who is willing to make whatever you wish happen, for a price...

The Dealer: This could be seen as his most common personality while not in the employ of another, he could be viewed as a grifter or a travelling salesman but what he wishes to do is not give but to take. His wish is to put his prey into a position that they become desperate enough to make a deal with him for something he will do for them, or give back to them... It is here that most will see the sardonic nature of the dark creature in all its glory.

He will, depending on who wants to make the deal act with tact or belittling pity for them and act as a sort of crutch to make them trust him and not feel as if they are being cheated or mocked by the creature. However he will act for the most part in a superior manner while making a deal with another Reigen's priority is not to be his mark's friend but to lull them into thinking his is only to take what he wants from them and leave them to their own fate, he can be kinder than this and almost always holds up his end of a deal but that is usually due to the fact that the person he aided still has something he can take.

The True Self: Nothing short than a walking mass of complexes, Reigen has little to no care for those around him and only wishes for one thing, to have everything under his domain. This is means that nothing short of him wanting to be the only existence in the entirety of creation is enough for the demon, he has little to no trust in others whether it be above or below him Reigen feels that the only thing he can rely on is his own perceived greatness and others are simply his tools or objects and signs of respect or kindness to subordinates are simply shows that he does not like it when people play with his things.

This get to be so much so that if something cannot be his in its entirety he would see it destroyed or at least spent of all its usefulness, a husk of its former self. It is due to this that Reigen is practically incapable of any form of love or even any type of lust other than the want to take things from others he finds the act of 'copulating' a relationship to be little more than friction and will usually only relent if it is to someone's wishes he do so. Overall Reigen has a goal of near enough impossible heights, as such his own form of insanity may seem strange to others but to him wanting everything is the most common trend of humans, spirits and demons alike, and it is not like a demon to buck a trend...

Positive Traits/Strengths:

• ---- Hyper Intelligence, gained from long living arrangement that he has with being a monstrous creature. While inside a body that looks much younger he is incredibly quick and is fluent in any language common to the world currently, is well versed in both biological and chemical reactions and elements and having the ability to determine a person's measurements and more importantly calculate distance equations and mathematical issues from the top of his head.
  
• ----Extremely Charismatic to the point of being overtly such, having an ability to make people like and dislike him with varying effect, and being quite well versed in manipulation and turning people against their own good nature.
  
• ----While being given a good reason to be he is also inhumanly determined when it comes to a task, once he has been given a task or knows of a goal that has to be dealt with nothing in existence can keep him from at least finishing his objective.

Combat Abilities:  
Incredible Healing Factor: As a demon Dansen has quite a skill at being tougher than the average human, however he does not have the same power for toughened skin as other demons or yokai due to his human body as such in order to compensate Dansen has an impressive healing factor being able to heal wounds within hours of taking them, the power does leave a lasting effect however as the damage done does not have time to heal with much lasting effect making another wound like it much more damaging.

Touch of Greed: Dansen's primary ability which he can uses is to 'take' a certain item from a person, this ability and its limitation are all in accordance with the ability for Dansen to be in contact with a person. The touch of Greed is the outlet for which Dansen can obtain objects or things from a person, when in contact with a person it allows Reigen to take something away from them, this power while quite potent does have its limits. For one contact must be made to activate the effect and even then the power of the demon is limited once more.

It is not possible for Dansen to take anything that the user themselves hold dear or important, the connection the user has to an item or a thing is what makes it powerful therefore Dansen could not use such a power to take an enemy's weapon away or to get rid of a blast or an attack towards him as they are all extensions of the connection that the user has for an item. More than this Dansen can only take one thing from a person, the limit of this power goes up to three meaning he can take one thing from a maximum of three people, once a item has been taken it can be given back but it cannot be stolen again, though he can only take a single item he can use the  his hand to take another though this is done preferably with inanimate objects not humans or other supernatural creatures. In the case of a item that has a dead owner or if the item's original form has been destroyed or damaged the item taken with appear near the origin of the theft, however it will only reappear if it was a physical item.

Another factor comes from the fact that the time limit to what Dansen stole is dependant on the strength of the user he obtained it from, for those in with much greater power he can only take the item for a time of two posts as such the amount of time that the item is taken grows longer the weaker the subject is. In addition to this the power can be extended to those things that the person holds dear to them if they willingly allow Dansen to make a deal for them, this makes it so the item they lost is traded back for the item they had made a deal with though permission grants Dansen reign over the item for only three posts of a thread before being 'gifted' back to them by the demon.

Dansen has an extreme fondness for his headwear, as such he is extremely temperamental to those who touch it or cause any sort of damage to it, in some cases he would cry in sorrow at the sight of it injured or he will invoke murderous rage to get payback on whoever dared to cause such a grievous act to befall his fashion.

Athletic...But....
Dansen's power lies in his trickster nature, the strength he draws is from being able to turn his opponent's head and completely blindsiding them with a clever tactic that could not be foreseen... Unfortunately he is not particularly good at taking a punch, or a kick, or a massive blast of fire to the face... That's what his power is there for... To avoid that~ due to his weak constitution all physical damage taken to him would be increased by one step, e.g. a minor wound would rise to a moderate wound due to his weakness. His weakness only acts on blunt, slashing or piercing damage however and not magically or spiritual damage

ONLY Touch of Greed
-Power only works on touch, only way to activate it is close quarters touching the item or enemy.
-Limiting the use of his hands in turn makes it impossible for him to use his power.
-His power cannot be extended from his hands, only the range of effect can be increase with training.

Word of Greed
Though he is Dansen by name, the young man only seems to respond with that name as a sort of title, to the point that he mentions that the name is that of him... But not him. Those who are willing to take the time and seek to learn his real first name will get the gift of understanding why. When his true name is spoken by someone, 'Dansen' must follow the orders and wishes of the person who asked him. This continues on for an entire week and while he is begrudging he cannot deny the one who has his name. Once the week is over however the person hold no power over him with the name, as added protection the controller of his name cannot openly speak it (IM commands privately) if they do they will lose the contract of control and those who hear it will not be able to actively use the name to control him until a determined amount of time has passed.


Character Backstory:

Born a Shadow

In the dark shadows of hell where the light of the fires that constantly burn dare not reach, a small sliver of the darkness began to stir and twist into something more, this being had little less than a figure, less than a shape of a man it was born in the shape of what had surrounded it, shadow. The creature had gained little sentience for what it was but what it had helped it distinguish what was the ethereal and what was it now was, as its hands and legs began to form into what it had found to be a appropriate figure of what little the shadows had seen in the hellish landscape that it was onlooking of the creature gained a mouth, it was then that with its forming features it tried to make its first words. All it did was scream to the lands beyond.

The inner working of the world made the creature take on different needs and wants of the creatures that lived within another world, their arrogance and the need for more power, money, women it fueled the creature. But it did more than just that, it gave it a hunger, this was unlike any hunger for nourishment it was a drive more than anything, the creature did not know how to smile but from watching the humans and their greed from the shadows of the world a grin unlike any other would be seen on the unnatural creature as it relished in humanities need for more power, technology, everything.

It was soon that the creature had gained enough of itself to become more than just the shadows in the corner of the eye, it made itself a body from the shadowy depths it was born in, then it feasted on its original home making a suit from the remnants of its birthing pit. As a shape of a hat was made on the creature's head it began to imitate all it had learned in the time it spent growing and amassing knowledge, it took the appearance of one in the world of the living so that if and when it journeyed there it would not look suspicious, unless it wanted to... The first sounds from the creature's mouth had been a scream of madness and uncertainty, now as a newly form demon born from the necessity of all humans the need to get better and want more it took on a name that it jumbled together from the language of humans. And 'his' first words were now. "Who would like to make a deal...."

Business as it is...

The name ****** Akogi was known in hushed tones and under the table deals, only those who wanted to see him, truly wanted to make him an offer would find themselves in the presence of an unearthly creature, appearing from nowhere he would ask them what they needed...And what they were willing to give up. For most the deal they made with him seemed to go well, most humans did not want to know the sordid affairs that got them to the top only that it got them there. However they were in debt to creature they had met and knowing when he would collect was the hardest and scariest part to decipher.

It was one human that showed the true personality of Dansen for certain, he needed a transplant for his ailing wife and the demon was perfectly fine with giving it to him he told the human of the risks and the price he would take but he never openly said what he wished from the man. Only a few weeks later the man's wife was already in the prep for surgery at the local hospital, it was here that on the night that the deal was done things seemed at there best. That was until the power to the hospital went out. The man rushed to the window of the operating theatre, the organ that was failing had been removed and the new one was inside his wife, but it was not connected without illumination it would surely mean death for the man's wife he rushed to the directions given for the backup generator, it should have started but it seemed to be malfunctioning.

The man rushed to the generator room, only to find that on the path to the room a long snake like chain rushed its way through the corridor cutting into the doors of patients and doctors in fear of their lives. The chain snaked back to the creature it came from, carried back up into the chest pocket of the well dressed man as he checked the time on his pocket watch. With a ungodly smile the man only known as Dansen to the man spoke. "I said I had a price, I've always wanted a backup generator for my own purposes but if you want it. How about we make a deal..." The monster made another claim on a human he always found a way to make his prey weep in sorrow and fear, it was a hobby.

For the man who wants everything-

Dansen's time in the human world was always well spent, he made plenty of deals with humans whether they were forced or made with consent the demon always got what he wanted, it was there that the creature found himself at an impasse however. It was too slow... He could obtain the souls of many humans but those that truly had power, the power he wanted would be harder to manipulate. His strength had grown since his birth in the dark, he was no longer the pitiable creature that had once existed but what still remained was the hunger, the drive for power and need for all things to be better for him and worse for others that made him unsatisfied with what he had.

Dansen was usually a lone wolf, he very rarely kept with a host or a demon master, if he did it was likely to obtain something from them. Being the freelancing demon he was the Dansen was able to take and give services to many who could get him what he wanted but in the light of hell and the human world even with those damned spirits that gathered in places such as Hajime city or elsewhere Dansen was still not what he wanted to be. "More....Need more..."

It wasn't a proclamation of needing more power, strength, courage or luck he simply wanted more. More until it hurt more until the world itself shook at the very footsteps of his need, so much more that the world at his feet would become miniscule at his feet, and then he would take more. Truly he would debase himself when he needed to, he would be what was needed at the time, a warrior, a freedom fighter, a lover, a monster but in all of this he would be more as his hunger grew ever greater and it looked to never stop unless the madman had it all.

The current situation

Living in the world put him under threat of certain exorcist and enemies that tended to try and grab at him when he had the chance, luckily the well dressed demon had a tendency to get away, it was only recently in his usual haunt that he had been caught in a trap, it would slowly suck away his life force until his body would not hold and his true form would be sucked into the void as well, unfortunately for them they probably did not think that he would dissipate his meat suit and turn into a shadow to escape, after about 10 or 20 years he was sure they'd get the joke~

Starting out life as an average child, that would grow into a similarly average teenager and student Dansen would simply be. Well at least for the first 15 years of his life... Upon the eve of his 15th birthday, the young teen had noted that the day was seemingly as uneventful as it would be for most everyone, but something was different. From the corner of his eye he noted that an odd figure seemed to be hiding in the shadows always somewhere close to his position...

Creepy as it was Dansen hoped that whoever it was, they would take the hint to not keep following him. However as the day grew late the night set in as he made his way home. Saying goodbye to his friends as he turned the corner to his street, the boy noted the figure seemed to have made its appearance once more. Not wanting anymore of this he made to figure out the issue with whatever this thing was. The boy turned, and the sudden appearance of the figure shocked him. It wasn't so much a shadow... But it had no physical form as it stood there it seemed to hang a smile across its face as glowing green veins coursed through it incomplete visage.

"You'll do..."

These words seemed to course through Dansen as the thing grew closer, scared stiff as it moved close he closed his eyes and wished it was simply a dream... A few moment later and the young man opened his eyes, he shifted his hair with its green... Green? The last time he remembered his hair was black... As he thought about it, a surge of inspiration came through him and he simply moved towards his home.

As he returned home, his family members and friends seemed to be there looking to give him a celebration of sorts. Well that was good and all, but he had other things to do. Looking into his wallet he noted his ID. It read as Dansen Sukamada... Eh the first name was fairly good but the last name was unnecessary~ Dansen Akogi would be good for now. As he walked up to his room he noted that his family members seemed to be worried or something, as he entered his room he smiled and turned... His eyes glowing an unnatural yellow he would waved off there concerns. No need for them to worry about something they couldn't change~

A few days passed... And soon missing posters for the boy were around the district, a sudden disappearance was described from his mother. In her description she said he was simply touching the window of his room one second, then the glass pane seemed to appear in the middle of the air and crash to the ground and the next moment he was gone... Clearly a hysterical response but one that got rumours buzzing around...

A few years later the young man seemingly resurfaced, heading towards his new home in the vibrant city for gifted and different people. It seemed that for the well dressed teen, as he had a little more time with his new body and power... That it would be a good time to find some of his old friends and make some new ones with all the exciting, heart thumping times.... Well it all started here~
