Angels of his realm are completely unaffected by religious activity. They gain their power from people displaying virtuous activity. Hollow bones allow them to be lightweight and agile in the air, but make them fragile.
Appearance:
An angel's true form always includes bright glowing eyes and feathered wings which can be quite colorful. Their skin ranges from pastel cool-tones, to rich coppers. They often have glowing white or golden birthmarks that resemble tattoos, but skin markings can vary greatly. Angels over the age of 1000 can sprout various types of glowing horns.
Abilities:
Realm travel via exhausting magic.
Have the ability to hide their true form to blend into different realms better.
Able to bless weapons to add durability and a holy attribute to them.

Angels come from a realm heavy with magic and order, ruled by a council of seven Archangel. Angel may choose favorites to follow, but all Archangel have earned equal respect and authority. After many exhibitions to the curious land of Earth, it was decided that one of the Archangel was to stay on Earth to protect the realm from a suspected influx of Demon.
Angel are not perfect. While they naturally strive to be good people, make a positive difference and help those in need, they often show faults that would please demon. Usually, they are either unaware of these faults, focusing solely on following one specific virtue, or know of them and become ashamed of them when they show themselves.
If a angel's limbs, wings or horns are removed in battle, as long as the wound was not caused by dark magic, they can re-grow new ones in around two weeks, though this is a rather painful process. During that time they may have trouble hiding the remains of their true form for long periods of time. Once regrown, it may take from a few days to a week of building muscle in new limbs/wings before the angel is able to function/fly normally.
•The Realm of the Angel•
Magical floating islands, graceful architecture, and an abundance of magic, food and lovely material items make the realm of the Angel hard to dislike. The weather is most often just warm enough to wear very little or nothing. Because of this, angels also do not have any body hair. Clothing, if worn in their realm is either simple and draped, or elegantly tailored garments. Metallic embroidery is popular; as is wearing a lot of jewelry and beads. Higher ranks and enforcement Angel will sometimes own pieces to a full set of blessed gold or silver armor.
Angels are raised to share and be generous; there's more than enough resources in their realm for everyone to live equally and happily. Even the Archangel do not think themselves above their own race, even after accepting the responsibility of keeping their realm peaceful. Most Angel have two jobs; One they prefer, and one that is needed. Magic is heavily relied on instead of most undesirable/hard labor jobs.
It's unusual for angel to actively hunt demon just because they are a demon--They try and catch them in the act of corrupting a human or causing chaos before they start fights. Their priority is usually protecting each other, then protecting other races before they even consider a fight.
In the event of a major rule being broken, angel punishments are known for being strict and often violent or mentally damaging. They take discipline among themselves very seriously as a race of order, but will always judge each individual mercifully before anything is done. They are more forgiving of other races, as they see others as imperfect.
Angels are born with a natural magic that gives them superhuman regeneration, allowing them to re-grow their wings and horns. It also enables them to travel to and from their home realm, and gives them protection from becoming corrupted. However, if an angel commits a serious enough crime, the seven Archangels can forcibly remove this magic as a punishment, leaving the angel without magic and vulnerable to permanent injuries. At this point, if corrupted, they might regain superhuman regeneration, but they'd fundamentally change as a whole.
•Angel Titles•
While the angel are a society of equality, certain titles may be earned that will gain them respect and an important position.
Archangel: Only seven angels at a time will have this title. Each will represent one of the seven virtues, a teaching that has been around for many ages. These are the seven angel that meet and discuss important military matters for their entire race. Angel will often spend thousands of years training themselves in combat ability, knowledge and mastery of the virtue they aim for just to obtain this honorable title. The opportunity to obtain one of these positions only arises when the previous Archangel is killed or steps down from their position, and is chosen by vote after a display of all of the candidates' abilities via trials.
The seven Archangels each represent a virtue; and angel may decide to follow any number of their principles if they wish. This is not required, but more of a suggestion of society--such followings are highly respected, though it is the choice of the individual. Each teaching is ancient, and has been around for several generations of leaders. One might choose to follow one because they admire the leader, or because they simply agree with the teachings.

•Angel & Demon History• (ง'̀-'́)ง
Angel and demon history stretches back hundreds of thousands of years. Records state that angel first discovered demon in a single realm, going wild with chaos. As a naturally good race of order, the angel could not just sit and watch the inhabitants of this realm suffer. So they intervened.
At first, there was very little response from the demon as the angel stepped in to eliminate any threats to the realm. As the angel found more demon in other realms and began killing them off in great numbers, the demon organized a retaliation. An angry demon tricked a angel warrior into leading them back to their realm, bringing news of their location back with him. He built an army, leading it to attack the angel realm.
The first all-out battle was full of bloodshed. After taking brutal damage, the Angel succeeded in setting up a ward to defend their realm from intruders. They proceeded to attack the Demon realm in return, in an attempt to eliminate the threat; but the outcome was similar.
Wars of chaos and order like these raged throughout time, each side winning and losing like the swing of a pendulum.Though the fighting seems to have calmed when both sides learned to conceal themselves a little better, they still battle each other across realms to this day.

Though fascinated by every little thing that changes over the years, he fails to keep up with technology. He's protective over younger angels in the form of external threats, but he lets them make their own mistakes and pay for them. He tries his best to hide both his race and the fact that he's immortal, only using visible powers when absolutely necessary. He built up a detachment from the people around him; he's lost far too many friends and lovers to let anyone get close. Despite being distant, he loves social events. He's continuously fascinated by how much things change over a short hundred Earth years. He almost never talks about his past because both the good and the bad memories haunt him equally. Strong Wings: His wings are his best asset; giving him great control while flying. He can also take off very quickly, leaving a gust of wind behind him. He can carry one person with him while airborne, though they slow him down quite a bit.
Can perform miracles once every three weeks, small or large, with a sacrifice of equivalent exchange. This could be used to transfer some wounds to another person to save a life, for example. Bringing people back to life is a heavy punishable offense among angels. Miracles only affect physical things, they cannot change minds. No one can force an angel to perform a miracle, and they are hesitant to do anything big. [Using this skill requires a staff member to be present. Anything affecting other characters requires OOC consent. Anything large-scale requires admin approval]
- Novice Illusionist:
He's fairly new to this skill but picked it up in the last few hundred years after hearing it could be used to spot demons.
1. [No DMG] Doppelganger: He can create apparitions of up to six idling people in a room that cannot speak or do anything, really. They will shatter if touched.
2. [No DMG] He can use his illusion magic ability to briefly see through false forms. Since this requires all of his focus and him being very close to the person, he's only able use this in quiet spaces or alone with the person, leaving himself open to assault.
- Moderate Healer:
He can heal or speed up the healing process of external injuries like cuts and stab wounds, but is not the guy to go to for poison, severed limbs or deep internal injuries. In those cases, the most he can do is slow bleeding or ease pain until he gets the person to a real medic. He's more of a combat healer than a doctor.
- Master Air Mage:
0.[No DMG] Breeze: He can blow light gusts of air across a room to brush against someone to get their attention.
1.[No DMG] Flight Aid: He can fire bursts of air from his hands or feet to make him faster when flying. He can also use bursts of air to make speedy turns usually not possible.
2.[No DMG] Air bed: With a little concentration, Arcai can summon a soft, temporary surface to lounge on or catch a falling person with.
3.[No DMG] Levitate: After a two-post charge and one post to cast, Arcai can manipulate the air around a person or object to lift them into the air and move them around. This can be used to carry particularly large delivery loads if he doesn't need to be discrete, or to carry an injured person to safety. It can also be used to carry a second person while flying, though risk of dropping them is high. This works by manipulating air evenly in an upward/directional flowing current.
4.[Minor] Air Punch: One post to charge, one to punch. Close-range attack only. He can pack a little gust of air pressure behind his punches, making them that much harder on his opponents. This will also push both parties back a little bit from impact.
5.[Moderate] Directional Blast: Arcai can summon a powerful gust of wind to knock someone back or pull them towards him; affecting everything and everyone near the target. This spell is strong enough to knock someone off their feet, or if used in close quarters, slam them against a wall.
6.[Heavy] Air Prison: With full concentration for two posts of charging and one for casting, he can force (up to two) target(s) to a surface, pinning their body with air pressure while leaving their face open to allow for breathing. This could also be used to suffocate someone, but he is resolved to never resort to that. Once cast, he can hold the person there as long as he is within sight of the person and isn't attacked.
- Light Magic:
His true form will show when using powerful spells.
0.[No DMG] Calming Light
Light that has a calming effect on the mind, effecting anyone who looks at it directly. He can emit light either in a directional ray from his hand, or light his whole body. It is up to the other players as to how much it calms their character down, as minds can be complex.
0.[No DMG]-Stealthy Flight: Arcai can use invisibility magic while flying. It can be cast before taking off, but going too quickly will reveal his location because of the wind, and the spell may be canceled. If anything interrupts his concentration while flying, the spell may falter or end. Requires a post to cast, then another to take off. He cannot use this while carrying a person.
1.[No DMG] Rave angel: 1 charge 1 cast. He can create harmless light flickers and glitter around him in various colors, and make spotlights. This might also be useful for lighting a stage performance.
This can also be used to create a bright flash to blind enemies, or as a flashlight in a dark area.
3.[No DMG] He can conjure an object up to 12" long made of hard non-holy light such as small knives/daggers to use if he is disarmed. He can control these without touching them, but only within a few feet of himself. He cannot throw them without using his hands, can only summon one at a time, and it will poof if his concentration is broken.
He can also bend a beam of hard light with his hands into ring of light to cuff someone's wrist or ankle to a leg of a chair or other thin, sturdy rod.
4.Shield: He can conjure a shield of hard light, varying in size. This can be pierced by shadow magic quicker than by other types of magic. Depending on the charging time, a shield can be large or small.
-[Heavy Shield]Large shields can cover multiple people, and take two posts to charge. Large shields last two rounds of posts before leaving him exhausted.
-[Minor Shield]A weaker version of the same spell; one post charge and lasting one post once it's up. He can conjure a personal sized semi spherical shield bubble in front of him, leaving his back open. Attacks from the front will be stopped for one round of posts.
5.[Heavy Armor]-Armor: A two-post charge and then cast spell, cast before entering close combat. He can conjure a hard light version of his armor from home. This spell has an IC hour long time limit if not broken before then. Each piece will shatter the second time it's hit by a physical attack, and will shatter after one magical infused attack. Elemental magic without a physical form such as air or fire will go right through it.
---- - Combat Weaknesses:
-Arcai will always put others in the battlefield before himself; his protective nature could easily be the death of him.
-Most of his power comes from magic that requires a good amount of concentration and casting time, so if the battle begins with him unprepared, it puts him at a great disadvantage.
-Cannot see in the dark, at all.
-Fatally weak to black magic and cursed items. Extended minor exposure can make him sick.
-Severing his horns will make him lose all sense of balance.
-Severing his wings significantly reduces his ability to use magic, as it's all directed towards recovery.
-Can be trapped within magic circles of certain types.

-If he's surrounded by people sinning left and right, it can make him sick and weakened.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character Backstory: History Summary [Subject to further development]: Arcai was born the son of a powerful Archangel over 3,000 earth years ago. Though heritage is not how one becomes an Archangel (It's done through gaining the required skills/knowledge, and the respect of fellow angels), he felt the heavy weight of his family's expectations on his shoulders from a young age. As Archangels perish in battle, their positions are slowly picked up by younger angels. He was strong in his determination to take up his father's position one day, and so he eventually would. He trained for his father's role constantly. One of his favorite ways to train was studying the humans on Earth. Starting at a young age, he'd make occasional trips there, learning to blend into many different cultures and watch how they conducted their business. He quickly became fascinated; sort of like how kids like to watch ant farms grow. He would spend a few years on Earth, then return to the angelic realm for a time when he either grew bored, or when it became too dangerous to stay. He lived like this for a good thousand years, until his father was killed by a demon in battle protecting another realm. He immediately leapt into the position, washing his grief over with the heavy tasks of keeping the realms peaceful. He still made trips to Earth, but not nearly as frequently. Time passed, and he eventually found himself drawn to the unusual Hajime city, due to the nearby abnormal activity on his favorite realm. By this time, he'd grown strangely attached to the Earth realm, even after being mistreated and beaten by so many of its inhabitants. He fears the rift there could attract demons or a dimensional imbalance, so he chose to stay and watch to help make sure the balance doesn't shift.
