Merin was fit to be an engineer on his planet, and was sent out on a scouting mission to secure another planet for trade and resources. However Merin's ship was struck by a meteor and crash landed on earth. Though he survived the crash, his ship was not so fortunate, leaving only the communication relay intact. He has since set up shop beneath Hajime's roads, making a home in the waterways and building upon his communication relay to get home.
 


Personality
Aloof and chilly, he tends to stay an arm's length away from people at all times. He doesn't like affection and doesn't like traditional means of physical contact, finding it an invasion of personal space. He is a hard worker that diligently works on his projects with care and ease, preferring to work alone rather than with a team, as he sees others as a hindrance. He frequently mumbles and wears turtlenecks or masks to cover his mouth. He prefers to speak with sign language.

Produces Pollen from the flowers that sprout on his head, this pollen, if inhaled or consumed, induces euphoria and drowsiness.(Does not do this on purpose and cannot control it.)

Extrasensory Organs: Thin filaments on the anterior of the head (the brow), allowing for his sub species to navigate and detect prey items in the dark.

Night Vision: In order to help them see in low to no light, their eyes have developed the ability to see in complete darkness. Unfortunately this comes at the cost of color differentiation, meaning they only see in monochrome when exposed to low light situations.

Slight color blindness: The Flos are mildly colorblind, seeing only in de-saturated versions of normal colors.

Blood: The blood (sap) has minor healing properties, increasing platelet production and quickening the production of scabs. (heals minor wounds)

He can fight in a haphazard street rat kind of way.

Primitive Technology: Aliens are not used to the simplistic technology of Humans and thus are both unable to use it as well as avoid it due to pride. If they do happen to use a Human’s weapon [Anything that is not Plasma or Laser based], they will not be able to use it proficiently and the damage goes down by 1 tier.

Cannot hide due to his luminescence.
