| OOC Info SL Username: - Yunaji SL Display Name: - Seiun Fade ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Character Info Name: - Sai Enoki Himura Age: - Twenty four (24) Birthday: - August 12th, 1992 - 8/12/1992 Gender: - Male Height: - 5'7" {170cm} Weight: - 143 lbs.{65kg} Race: - Human Species: - Human Origin: - Kyoto, Japan Occupation: - Currently is simply making clocks and metal statues from his home, but has hopes to some day open up a Clock Store. Affiliation: - N/A ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Character Story Sai was born the large city of Kyoto Japan on August twelth 1992, as a preemie into a fairly broken family. During the day of Sai's birth, his mother, Aina Himura, was dropped off to the hospital by her best friend, her husband, Kenta Himura, not bother coming along. Sai and his mother were stuck within the hospital for several weeks due to complications that comes with being a preemie. During this time, Aina was desperate to find some way out for the child; knowing their home situation was too perilous to bring Sai into. During the time that they had to spend there, she had finally gotten a hold of an orphanage that were willing to take on the burden of caring for the tiny, weak scrap. After the first week of being at the hospital, the doctors had finally been able to stabilize Sai to the point where he was able to come out of the infant incubator and be held for the first time. Aina refused. After it was concluded that the child was only dealing with a minor heart problem, the staff gave the okay to release the two. That same day, Sai was relinquished into the hands of an orphanage. Now living at the orphanage for five years, Sai was growing fairly quickly. He wasn't very fond of getting attached to the other children due to the fact all the friends he makes along the way eventually get adopted. He much preferred his books over talking to anyone, however, that was about to change. One quiet Tuesday, a young boy at the age of six was dropped off, this was the second time he was 'returned' to an orphanage, however, this was the first time he was brought here. His name was Norio. Sai really hit it off with the newcomer, and it quickly got to the point where the two were inseparable. Due to Sai's weaknesses and nerdy disposition, always having his nose stuck in a book, he was quite often teased, however, Norio didn't allow such since he came around, constantly sticking up for Sai and always keeping him close by. By the age of fourteen, he and Norio were still stuck at the orphanage, and still very much great friends. They took it upon themselves to help out quite a bit, including going out shopping for the staff, and taking care of younger children to be dropped off. Sai had also found his niche several years before after finding a broken clock on the wall and fiddling with it. Some of the staff found this to be fairly useful, and agreed to get the boy tools to work with. He soon found a great love for creating clocks and statues from metals, and even often sold them on the side when he and Norio left the building. One calm evening, whilst out running errands, Norio decided he wanted to try a back path to make it a bit quicker, however, the alley ways were fairly dangerous, hiding who knows what in them. Sai refused Norio's plea, yet Norio was a very smooth talker, and finally pulled his best friend along with him through the dark back ways. It was fairly quiet, and empty, and with Norio's jokes and teasing, Sai eased up a bit and tried to focus on his friends energy. The calmness however, wasn't the last. Norio gave Sai a playful slap to the back of his head and ran off, taking a quick turn to the left into another alley way. Following after a bit less quickly, he was struck with a paralyzing fear as Norio's body was thrown back, ricocheting off the wall. Quickly stopping in his tracks, he froze as a man dressed in a formal kimono stepped out from the alley way Norio ran into and stalked to the motionless body. His hair was orange and quite well kept, his eyes glowed brightly under the moons rays, not giving away their colour. The man looked human at first glance, but as you look to Norio, you could see where long, sharp claws raked against skin. The man hovered over the body for a moment, looking a tad surprised on his side before raising back up and gazing over to Sai. The man's eyes narrowed before walking back into the alley way he came from. Norio would die later that night in the Hospital. The years went by fairly slowly after that night. Sai had retreated into a shell after losing his best friend, and immersed himself back into his books and making clocks of all types, as well as statues mainly made from unused or broken gears. At the age of eighteen, he decided he wanted to leave the orphanage, seeing as he was now a legal adult. However, finding a job that could accommodate his- Situation wasn't all that easy. The staff at the orphanage finally gave in and offered him a low paying job to get him started at the very least. Sai proved to be a very hard worker despite his limitations, and even on his breaks and time off, he'd sit and fiddle with clocks, being the one way to de-stress himself. Along with the money he saved from working with the children, as well as what he made on the side from selling his creations, by the time he was twenty four, he had finally gained enough money to support himself by finding himself a fairly cheap apartment in a nice placed called Hajime City. With what little he had on his person, he made a fairly quick transition from Kyoto to Hajime City and now lives there full time. He has high hope for his new home, as well as hoping to open his own clock store to work in and sell from. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Personality Sai is naturally calm by nature, which makes him really good at keeping his focus; not that it's necessarily a good thing. When Sai has himself focused on something, he will more often than not tune out everything around him until he has finished with what ever he was doing, this includes noises, people, and will also push the limits of time away, often staying up for days on end if he really must. While he would never want to admit it, he can be a fairly emotional person, he has a big heart, loves deeply, and overly cares for those he likes. He's very easy to discourage and bring down, and will often retreat into his home and busies himself with small tasks around the house or simply works on his projects until he feels better and chooses to prove those who discourage him wrong. Sai is also very easy to entertain, finding humor in the smallest of things, he also is very easy to make laugh, you could honestly stare at him with a serious face and he'll start bursting out laughing if it's a light enough of a situation. It's also very easy to make him flustered, especially if people flirt with him or call him cute. Sai is also really not one for fighting. Due to his weak heart, he tries to avoid anything that could over work his body, however, he is also a very protective person, willing to step into a dumb situation, willing to do anything for his loved ones, even if he can't do much. Sai is also very gullible and often overly trusting. He gets himself into a lot of trouble due to his open heart, which is why he mainly tries to stay within his home or shop, rather preferring the company of ticking clocks than that of another being. He also has a strange attraction to birds, he really enjoys going somewhere remote to bird watch despite being horribly allergic to them. He has tried many times to re-create a bird with his knowledge of working with gears and electronics, however, he's not yet been successful, having several note books of prototypes of bird blue-prints. Yet, he's also a very determined being, and still has yet to give up. Positive Traits: -Compassionate -Conscientious -Focused -Selfless Negative Traits: -Careless -Diffident -Emotional -Gullible Likes: -Opioids -Working -Reading -Birds (Even though he's allergic to them) Hobbies: -Making Clocks -Bird Watching -Star Gazing -Shell Collecting Dislikes:-Opioids -Small Spaces -Rudeness -Having His Picture Taken Facts and Quirks: -He absolutely loves Birds, but he's allergic to them. -He's addicted to Opioids. -He's absolutely terrified of spiders. -He's a Workaholic. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Personal Effects Personal Inventory: -A pill bottle of Opioids. -A Cellphone. Personal Property: -A tool belt full of instruments to work on clocks. Wears often. Specialized Equipment: N/A ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Abilities Racial Abilities: None at this time. Non-Combat Abilities: None to put. Combat Abilities: -I mean, if you give him a book or something he can maybe throw it, but that's about all he's got. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weaknesses Racial Weakness: Only Human: Humans have physical capabilities that only go so far without modification! Because of this they aren’t likely to hit harder than other humans without some help. Physical punches will not be more than 1 minor without some sort of ability buff. Combat Weaknesses: A Weak HeartSai really doesn't have the stamina or strength to fight, his heart is so weak he can easily become out of breath, or worse, especially in heat or in great times of stress. Should he get into a fight, he can swing up to a max of eight punches/kicks, should this not be enough, he must forfeit the fight and give in. It's required to rest for the remainder of the day before fighting again. Horrible VisionSai absolutely needs his glasses to see anything. Without them, he'd basically be walking blind. Should his glasses get knocked off during a fight, he can either swing wildly and use up all his stamina at once, weather or not he hits, or, must take a turn to attempt to find his glasses.
