Hikari was born in the world of 'Over Yander' in the town of Yutomisu, and at this point in time, resided with his father, Izanagi Yugure, whom is a Wolf Yōkai. His mother, Chiyo Arakawa, as of which was human, sadly passed on due to complicated issues two hours after the birth of her son. Upon Hikari's fifth birthday, his father introduced him to the Ketsueki Kokoro Pack, as of which, he was Head Beta. With his fathers lie about Hikari's blood, and fooling them all to believe he was a true Yōkai, the pack welcomed him in with open arms. The lead of the Pack, Hokuyad, had given Izanagi approval to teach his son all that was needed to learn about the pack as well as take over his training.

The young half blood was a very quick learner, as he grew older, he was trusted with more responsibilities, more so than the normal Omega, which all pups started out at, and mainly stayed at. Ranking up within the Ketsueki Kokoro Pack was just about damn near impossible, however, through hard work and devotion, a couple hundred years later, Hikari was honored the rank of Low Beta, which left him in charge of guarding the pack and setting up hunts. He quite enjoyed his new title, and truly took on the responsibilities with a strong disposition. His pack looked up to him to oversee more than many the other lower beta's were too uninterested in doing.

One calm evening however, several years after Hikari's promotion, within his territory, a rival pack called the Kowareta Pack raided the territory. They didn't get far enough in to do much damage, however, several Guards on the first line of defense were brutally murdered, one of which, included Hikari's father. The devastation of loosing their best Head Beta, a vigil was held, the entire pack sat around the deceased under moonlight until the break of dawn before they were to bury the body. Now alone with no family other than his pack, Hikari devoted himself day and night, mainly to keep himself busy. Growing more devoted to his pack, he rarely took time to himself, giving all his time to the pack members, training, overseeing training, and setting up patrols as well as hunts.

One quiet day, Hokuyad came to him with a special request. He wished for Hikari to go to the Over world for the first time, and gather several supplies needed that could only be found within Tokyo. Hokuyad came to only Hikari due to his high trust and faith in Hikari's mastered skill of shape shifting. With hesitated agreement, the young man took his first steps out of Over Yander, and into the Over world. His first impression of the Over world could only be expressed as nothing less than disgusted. It was more populated than Over Yander, and with weak and pitiful little creatures called humans. Turning into his human form, he figured he was quite well blended, however, due to his half blood, his human form was a tad flawed, they were almost right...However, like an elf, they were long and pointed.

Becoming quite frustrated with the crowds and noises from the vehicles around him, he retreated into the forest to attempt to regroup. Hikari found a well shaded, over grown Shrine, and settled underneath one of the fully bloomed Cherry trees. Despite the unsightly look of the shrine, little did Hikari know it was actually inhabited and ruled by a very protective, and angered, Wind God. Finding this Yōkai's presence a threat, he hesitated not as he quickly began to attack. Quite caught off guard, Hikari wasn't quick enough to dodge the first few attacks, resulting in a long scratch down the back, and another along his neck down to his shoulder. Attempting to simply daze the God just for a few moments so that he could regain his footing, Hikari quickly snapped his wrists and outstretched his fingers as a ball of blue flames appeared within his palms. Spewing out a few balls of fire at the God, he quickly balanced himself once again, however it did no good. The Wind God grabbed onto Hikari and jabbed his claws into his chest, and forcefully began to remove the Yōkai powers from him. Jerking his body away from the God, with the last of his strength, he ran out of the God's territory. Holding his chest tightly, he opened his eyes and glared at the God. His once pure yellow eyes with elliptically-shaped pupils, now were broken. His left eye resembling that of a humans with an off Crimson colour.

Whilst the God was not successful with taking all of his powers, he did succeed in damaging his strength greatly...His powers were halved, and his human blood was no longer something he could hide. Retreating back to Yutomisu, he barricaded himself into his household for several months while his wounds healed. Healed enough, yet not fully, he sought out his pack to explain what had happened. Walking through the crowds of his follow pack mates, he was given stares of distrust. Upon finding Hokuyad, the pack leader was unimpressed, all his trust and faith within this young Yōkai was replaced with hatred. Such a monstrosity of forbidden half blood in his pack? Not a chance. With a great force of hostility, the pack turned against their own and chased Hikari out of Yutomisu.

With no where to turn, and backed between a rock and a hard place, the now Lone Wolf retreated back to the Over world, and found himself besides a Shrine within a city called, Hajime City. Figuring he should at least try to blend in and attempt to find a place to seek refuge while he healed. Shape shifting into his human form, he was able to walk within town freely, however...Due to his recent run in with the Wind God, after an hour and a half, his transformation terminated in a quick flash. Quickly taking cover, he attempted to take his human form once again, but to no success. Keeping to the trees, he now finds himself stuck within a busy city, wounded, with no current way of removing himself.




Hikari is a fairly quiet being, enjoying his solitude above all else. Over the years of his life, he's learned in order to keep himself safe, to build walls around himself, with the inability to allow just anyone inside. He can't stand liars, or cheaters, and upon showing the first signs of such, he won't be afraid to push you out and shun you. He could care less about petty arguments, and can often find them most enjoyable. Finding drama a tad entertaining, and isn't afraid to stir things up a bit just to get a fill. Hikari is also not one to exactly show emotions, especially around those he knows not. He's quite mastered when it comes to keeping a nonchalant gaze.

He has a fair distaste towards humans, and offers very little to no sympathy or patience with, what he considers to be a greatly weak race. And yet, while he has no interest with them, he does often find himself being intrigued by them and the things they can do. Being the Familiar to a human however, has also taught him quite a bit when it comes to being more understanding towards them. He also shows a great amount of loyalty kindness that he normally wouldn't allow to be shown.

Hikari also has a bit of an attention problem. His attention can quite easily be dragged from a serious conversation to looking at something shiny. He also finds himself getting attached to the silliest of objects. Be it a strangely shaped leaf, or a shiny pebble. And he has quite a problem with hiding things that he likes, in any proper hiding spot he deems worthy. He also has absolutely no problem with attempting to hide people he has an attachment too as well. However, due to how many hiding spots he has, he more often then not, will indeed forget where he's hidden something, or even so, forgets about what he hid until he finds it later down the road.

Non-Combat Abilities:

Shape Shifting:
As a Yōkai, Hikari has the ability to shape shift into two different body forms along side his true Yōkai form.
One being his human form, which is a tad flawed. Due to his mixed blood, his human ears are more elongated and pointed, giving the look of more like an elf.
The other would be a feral wolf form, as of which has no flaws.
He is very limited on how long he can stay transformed due to his powers being halved by a Wind God. There is a random timer on his shape shifting, and he never knows how long he'll be disguised. It can be anywhere between one to twelve hours. He can only transform once a day, even if the timer ended after just an hour.

Combat Abilities:  

Wolf Flame:
Hikari has the ability to summon balls of fire, which are mainly blue in colour. Naturally, he only uses this ability for protection, and tries to keep from summoning the flames around humans, unless he is protecting them. Due to the fact his powers were halved, they can still do harm, but no more than a normal flame. It can't fully engulf a person unless they are doused in gasoline. Limited use of six times a day, and can only summon four at a time.
Power: Moderate Damage
Range: Can't hit anything farther than twenty feet, after twenty feet they simply disappear. Can't "heat seek", meaning they won't follow a person until it hits.
The flames last a total of two minutes, if they are not used before then, they simply disappear. Each attack can consume anywhere between two to four flames, this doesn't affect how much power it does, it simply means if he attacks and it only uses up two flames, he may attack again. Can not use the flames unless at least balls are present.
The flames are quite weak against gusts of winds and of course water, as well as any type of ice. Should any of these elements hit the flames, they simply dissipate. Hikari can also not summon the flames should his hands be wet.

Holy Grounds:
Due to being a Yōkai, Hikari has absolutely no resistance or tolerance to holy or purifying magical abilities in any sense. Any affected areas hit with such attacks will burn and eat away at the skin much like fire would.

Combat Weaknesses:

Weakened:
Due to his run in with a Wind God, his powers are drastically halved. He is now limited on how long he can stay within any other form, he never knows how long it'll last. And while his Wolf Flame remains the same on it's limits, the power of the flames itself were weakened.

Deep Waters:
While Hikari doesn't mind water, and actually quite likes water, he can't swim what so ever. He sinks like rock...Not even the doggy paddle could save this pathetic soul when it comes to swimming.

Heat:
While he loves fire, he can't stand heat what so ever. It slows him down horribly and makes his ability to think impaired. If hit with any type of fire ability, he will be stunned for one full rotation.
Damage: +1 Tier

Easily Distracted:
He has a problem with becoming very easily distracted if he sees something shiny or colourful. While he won't go chasing after anything during battle, his attention could easily be grabbed away, breaking concentration.
