| The Yūekina Report: June 2017 Edition  - Yuekina Report Newsprint:
Radio-Waves InboundArticle written by Yuki Watabe, Yuekina Editor and Chief.Recently I was approached by Amai Tsukamoto, also known as DJ Siren-Song, about a Radio building in the works in Hajime City. The building will host the new local radio station 101 HCFM. Amai stated, "HCFM will be bringing in anything from talk shows, to late night radio broadcasts...it would be easy for us to get new writers over there for more variety." Ms. Tsukamoto also mentioned that the HCFM Building will have available space for other business, such as a Photography and Recording studio--allowing more work to be available for local idols, bands, photographers, local media stars, and models! With this being said, the Yuekina Report has been given a chance to relocate to an area that will allow us to expand and be even more accessible to the public. Once this building is completed, we will be shifting our headquarters to the HCFM Building, and we will begin doing live reports. This means means more news, at a convenience. We hope you're just as excited for this new opportunity for those of this city as we are!
Month of June June WeatherJune weather report written by Yuekina Writer, Shiro Kuro.Summer is just around the corner Hajime, with temperatures reaching up to 85F/30C. The city’s humidity is also starting to skyrocket, with fog in the earlier parts of the day, but clearing up towards the afternoon. There’s a strange feeling in the city, which can only be linked to a visible moon in the skies of Hajime City, as it’s been 200 years since Hajime has had a visible moon! Stargazers will sure to enjoy the sight. June FashionJune fashion report given by Yuekina Writer, Idol Sugar.June gonna wanna tune in for these fashion tips, Hajimites! It's time to bust out those Maxi dresses, ladies! Flowy skirts are super in right now. Not feeling skirts? Bleach spotted denim shorts with a silk blouse isn't a bad choice either. Gotta accessorize with a watch though, any kind is good! Same goes for males. The in color this month has gotta be bright! Yellow is super in right now unless it clashes, then I would suggest you go for teal. Wedge opened toed shoes are your go to footwear ladies cause the weather is nice and you'll be walking outside a lot. My dudes, it's time to mix it up. They're still so cute." - Cat EnthusiastThe Yūekina Report: May and Early June Event Overview May 10 - HCPD Interviews with Deputy Chief, Amina Callistan-Canceled- May 13 - Cameron’s Birthday Bash at Masked MaidensCameron of the Terrace outside of Hajime City has his birthday party held at the popular Masked Maidens with the owner Sayuri Sabara. There was loud bumpin’ music, open bar all evening, and beautiful dancers streaming out. Surely a way to hold a Birthday Bash! May 18 - HCPD Gun Safety Class with Police Officer, Vanessa TiānlánGun Safety Classes were a total hit with citizens of Hajime city, where they got to learn all about safety rules, guidelines, and proper storage of your weapon. Then they were able to go to the shooting range to receive their gun permit. The Police Officer, Vanessa Tiānlán also stated that HCPD is looking to hire capable hands to help protect the city. May 27, 4pm - Splashing, not Smashing Pool Party at Kamiyama Suites with Hostess Amai TsukamotoMany people were able to come out and enjoy the lovely pool side that’s available at Kamiyama Suite with Hostess Amai Tsukamoto. It was a great evening for people to make connections with one another! May 27, 8pm - Reverbed Bass Event at Club Radium, with DJ Siren-SongDJ Siren-Song held a raving heck of a time at Club Radium with the Reverbed Bass Event! Everyone was filled with energy, the manager at Club Radium stated that business had taken a whole new high that night. Who would have thought that possible? June 1 - Blooming Blossoms in the Park with the Kindred of Harmony, hosted by Thable KanemotoEarly this month at Hajime City Central Park, there had been an event hosted by The Kindred’s Thable Kanemoto, and sponsored by flower shop, Petalphile. Prank Gone WrongArticle written by Yuki Watabe, Yuekina Editor and Chief.Mid-May there had been a small explosion at in front of the HC Medical Hospital. When approaching Dr. Rowan Morris about it, this is what he had to say, "...Ah...yes well.. it was..a prank I suppose you could say. There wasn't much damage." No one had been harmed by the prank thankfully. Danger in the Alleys
Report written by Yuki Watabe, Yuekina Editor and Chief There have been reports of nearly rabid-like individuals roaming the alleyways of Hajime City as of late. Though we were able to get ahold of leaked footage of one of a hornet-woman, a winged being, and a probable human engaging in combat. Towards the end of the video the woman holds up a sign detailing "THE RUMORS ARE TRUE. THE VIDEO WAS REAL. THERE IS MORE TO COME. - V" all of the text seems to be ordinary, except the letter ‘V’. What could this ‘V’ stand for? - Full Camera Footage:
The following footage was captured from the camera of the back entrance to one of the Hajime Restaurants. The footage is in complete black and white, with no audio to it. ((all dialog between characters have been removed for this log))
[19:08] ??? stops on the corner of the roof above the two, watching for a moment. She wasn't sure why she was on patrol in the skies, or why at this time of night, but she knew she was bored. At first she dismissed the pair, before noticing the rear entrance of the restaurant had a security camera that could see the back alley pretty well. Makes sense since the way was known for the homeless rabble. She jumped off the roof, literally trying to land boot first on Casmeron.
[19:13] Ezekiel he was focused on talking to the other angel and listened to their possible plans for later involving bringing him to recovery. Part of him hoped, the other part had long lost hope. He wasn't sure how he would go on about that; having great disappointment in his lack in ability to recover what could be easily regenerated. He nodded with a faint smile -- raising a brow further when the mention of a hospital lady. But before he could even say any further on the topic, a winged assailant jumped from the roof, causing the blond to snap up his neck with widened eyes, he would try to shield the other angel with his taller form, and if allowed, he would take the hit instead.
[19:18] Casmeron smiled softly and nods, chuckling and fluttering his wings. He stood to come closer before hearing him shout, following his gaze and catching a face full of crotch, blushing heavily, glow growing dim. He flustered enough to stammer. Before he was shielded by his brother, making him shriek in a panic. He flapped his wings and fussed over him, laying hands on him as he summoned forth a healing breeze to try and mend him, ignoring the woman for a moment.
[19:25] ??? would laugh as she landed on the blond instead, and quickly tried to stomp on him from her position above him with her left leg. With her right hand she'd quickly fling it forward at Casmeron, a blue beam extending from her gauntlet into an energy whip as she tried to hit him in the face with it.
[19:33] Ezekiel was immediately hit with a yelp, taking the damage for his fellow friend, but it rattled his bones and his simple human body. He was stomped over further as he fell to the ground with his arms keeping his face from further damage - struggling to keep up with the situation as he gasped out, he tried to call out blindly - wanting the other angel to not deal with this danger out of his own sheer good will.
[19:34] Casmeron tries to shield the blond from the woman's attack only to get smacked in the face with a blue beam thing. He hissed and rubbed his nose, a bit of blood trickling forth. That actually hurt! He looked up at her and frowned, electricity arching around his body. He looked at her and crossed his arms. He tried to approach her with courtesy and polite manners. He looked at Ezekiel and bit his lip, worry plain on his face. He warned them, plainly, though his glow dimmed the longer he stood in her scantily clad presence.
[19:44] ??? stops stomping, and reaches down, a syringe falling from her sleeve into her right hand, with which she quickly tries to stab and inject Ezekiel with, focusing for the moment on that.
[19:56] Ezekiel tried to retain his composure as he tried to bring himself back up, but before he managed to, he was immediately hit with yet another hit -- this time, stinging pain from a sharp object. It easily went through his skin. He didn't realize he was being injected with something, but the pain was enough for him to grunt out with a hiss. He could only ask why; unable to grasp the concept of someone simply assaulting without rhyme or reason. He was certain he didn't do anything wrong. He was weakened at this state, unable to do much.
[20:00] Casmeron hisses and flares his wings, unable to reach his brother in time. He brings two fingers together, aiming them to the side of the woman, away from his brother and her. A spark of energy sputtered before growing larger, emitting arcs of electricity down his arm. He Narrowed his eyes as he released the attack, a loud sound of pure electricity slamming into the wall with a deafening electrical boom. He looked down at her and then his brother, his glow continuing to dim.
[20:08] ??? let out a small sigh, pulling back her hand, and the syringe, which she'd deposit into a compartment in her boot. She heard his whimper, and poke back. She winces at the loudness of the sound of the electrical boom as the sound hit her, not that anyone could tell with that mask she wore. She would flip backwards into the air, flicking her whip at Cas once again as she comes out of the flip, and taking back to the air.
[20:13] Ezekiel continue to lie there, listening to the boom, but still unable to do much. Their assailant mentioned about needing to make a name, but he still didn't quite understand why. He continued to lie there, slowly drifting off.
[20:18] Casmeron hisses as the whips lashes out at him again, eyes narrowing, he wasn't about to make the same mistake twice, that thing really hurt. He side stepped the whip, looking at his brother with deep worry and then back to her with stern annoyance. He said something bluntly, folding his wings. At least she apologized ? He still felt his innards seethe forth, urging him to fight. He refused to listen and instead try to stop it before it started. He asked something politely, watching his brother lay there prone, moving to stand in front of him to guard him from further damage, arms folded.
[20:25] ??? laughed out loud at the question that was asked. She floats backwards, towards the security camera. quickly pulling out a small paper from one of her pockets, and sticking it over the lens for the security footage. The only thing visible from this point is the message written on the note: "THE RUMORS ARE TRUE. THE VIDEO WAS REAL. THERE IS MORE TO COME. - V" While everything is typed in generic bold lettering, the "V" happens to be stylized, almost like a logo or something. What rumor could the message be talking about?
  Early May, End of April, there had been an attack on Club Radium by a Mysterious Fox-Woman. We were unable to get information until mid-May on the attack, no pictures were submitted, but people came forward to speak on such. Two people were taken to the hospital, another was taken to the Terrace for care. Luckily no one was killed! Since then, Club Radium has been searching for more muscle to protect the club, calling out HCPD to get a hold on criminals in the city. Strange Illness in Hajime CityArticle written by Yuki Watabe, Yuekina Editor and Chief.Over the course of May, there had been citizens complaining of a strange illness in the city. With people being admitted into the hospital for flu-like symptoms, and then others who had the illness for much longer experiencing something similar to rabies. I, once again, had the chance to speak to Dr. Morris about the situation, and a cure for this strange illness. Dr. Morris & Dr. Mishima were able to create a vaccine for the illness, and will begin distributing to every infected citizens about sometime next week. - 6/8/2017 Voice Recorded Interview with Dr. Rowan Morris:
[17:33] Yuki "The strange illness that has been ravaging downtown alleyways, the illness seeming to really affect the homeless population and some citizens. The people of the city have been taking extra precautions against this illness, but wonder what HC Medical is doing to fight this?"
[17:44] Rowan "Personally, I have been working non-stop in the hospital's lab with the assistance of Dr. Mishima on creating a vaccine for this illness for the past two weeks...We've run several tests and we have identified the type of virus. A working vaccine has already been created and tested. So there's no need to fret. Actually, I just discharged a patient which was infected just yesterday. Given their state, the sickness did make them week but with rest they should be back to themselves in no time."
[17:50] Yuki "So with the success of the vaccine, when do you think would be the earliest date in which those are infected could receive the vaccine? There are also reports of those who had the same illness going into a rabid-like state. How should they be captured?"
[17:58] Rowan "The vaccine is water soluble so the cure should be able to be distributed easily. I don't advise citizens to capture anyone who is infected, but perhaps to report to the police with a given description. Coming in contact with any bodily fluid of those who are infected will cause the illness to spread, so it's best to keep your distance. I'm currently working on a plan to be able to distribute the vaccine so that every citizen would have access...Projected date would be sometime next week hopefully but I do not have a solid time line as of yet."
[18:02] Yuki "Excellent. Thank you Dr. Morris. I'm sure this will put out citizens at ease.”
