Personality: Casper is a fairly softspoken and introverted person. He's good at quick-thinking, but he's often very stubborn and it can be difficult to sway him from his original opinion on things. However opinionated he is, he doesn't like to pick fights and will often avoid arguing with others. Having been an asshole in the past -- and now paying for it -- he tries to be as kind and understanding a person he can be, though it's easy for him to fall back on his judgemental tendencies. While introverted, he's not antisocial -- he's capable of enjoying himself around other people, and in fact takes comfort in it. He's just a bit subdued and quiet when talking with others.

Combat weaknesses:

• He's not remotely trained as a fighter -- he'd be pretty useless in a fight against practically anyone. He has no practical combat skills whatsoever; his strategy is to run away and get real poofy call the police 90% of the time.
  
• The medical ID serves a purpose aside from letting him disguise himself as human -- transformation takes its toll on his body, causing chronic bodily pain and migraines that can vary in length and intensity. While well managed with medication, these tend to hamper him during physical activity, combat, or other strenuous activities, and lead to a dependency on needing his medication.
  

Character Backstory: Casper was a terrible, terrible doctor. He worked as an orthopedic surgeon, with a greater interest in a patient's bones and muscles than in the patient themselves. A severe lack of sympathy coupled with malpractice charges, culminating in a final incident where he led to the loss of someone's life. Someone, near and dear to this someone, decided to take revenge. Taking their own life in the process, they killed Casper and cursed him, dooming him in his next life to "be treated like you treat others."

So, Casper was born and raised as a baby pigeon, but as he got older, things changed. He started to retrieve his memories, flashes of sapience interspersed with animal instinct. This disjointed life went on until he finally achieved a truly human state of mind again, and gained the ability to take on a more humanoid form.

After some initial confusion and disarray, he managed to reintegrate into society and took on the name Casper Benjamin Rutherford. Determined to actually help people this time around, he went to med school a second time to do primary care/general practice, while still retaining much of his knowledge of anatomy and surgery.
